I wasn’t born yet when Bobby Thompson hit his dramatic homer to give the New York Giants the 1951 pennant.
But, as a huge baseball fan and knowing the baseball history of New York where frenzied Dodgers, Giants and Yankees fans battled every year for bragging rights, there wasn’t a bigger moment than this:
For one brief moment for Giants fans, the world was a perfect place.
