Fitna: An Important Short Film

Fitna (Arabic: فِتْنَةٌ‎) is a 2008 short political film by Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders with his view on the religion of the Islam.
Consequently, the film argues that Islam encourages—among other things—acts of terrorism, antisemitism, violence against women, violence and subjugation of "infidels" and against homosexuals and Islamic universalism.

A large part of the film details the influence of Islam on the Netherlands. The film was published on the internet in 2008.

Shortly before its release, its announcement was suspended from its website by the American provider because of the perceived controversy.[3][4] It stirred a still continuing debate in The Netherlands as well as abroad,[5] and a criminal prosecution.

The Arabic title-word "fitna" means "disagreement and division among people" or a "test of faith in times of trial".[6] Wilders, a prominent critic of Islam, described the film as "a call to shake off the creeping tyranny of Islamization".

On 27 March 2008, Fitna was released to the Internet on the video sharing website Liveleak in Dutch and English versions.

Andy McCarthy’s Ground Zero Thought Experiment Demonstrates a Clash of Liberal and Conservative World Views

Andy McCarthy does more than just write for The National Review.

He was a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He’s a doer and a patriot who led the 1995 terrorism prosecution against the 1993 World Trade Center bombers.

That makes Andy a real here in my book in the battlefield for the thoughts and minds of the American people.

Andy poses this scenario:

Imagine that there really were these fundamentalist Christian terror cells all over the United States, as the Department of Homeland Security imagines.

Let’s say a group of five of these terrorists hijacked a plane, flew it to Mecca, and plowed it into the Kaaba.

Now let’s say a group of well-meaning, well-funded Christians — Christians whose full-time job was missionary work — decided that the best way to promote healing would be to pressure the Saudi government to drop its prohibition against permitting non-Muslims into Mecca so that these well-meaning, well-funded Christian missionaries could build a $100 million dollar church and community center a stone’s throw from where the Kaaba used to be — you know, as a bridge-building gesture of interfaith understanding.

What do you suppose President Obama, Mayor Bloomberg, the New York Times, and other Ground Zero mosque proponents would say about the insensitive, provocative nature of the proposal?

Do you think the State Department would make the leader of the Christian missionaries a special emissary and send him to represent the United States on diplomatic business overseas?

What do you suppose the Saudi reaction would be?

What do you suppose those ecumenical GZ mosque proponents at Hamas would say?

What do you suppose Pope Benedict and other Christian leaders would say?

What do you suppose imam Feisal Rauf and his friends at CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America, the International Institute of Islamic Thought, and the various other Muslim Brotherhood affiliates would say?

How would building the church/community center in Mecca affect Saudi Arabia’s standing in imam Rauf’s Sharia Index Project?

“What disturbs me about this analogy, however, is the unspoken assumption that Americans shouldn’t be expected to value religious liberty and tolerance toward Muslims if Saudis don’t value religious liberty and tolerance toward Christians (the Western default religion).

What the righties don’t get is that the Cordoba House/Park 51 controversy is not about Islam, but about America. What are our values? What are our principles? What does America stand for? And do we maintain those values and principles through thick and thin, or do we chuck them under the bus whenever something frightens us?”

When a Liberal talks about values its pretty much a joke because they hold none for themselves.

Their values are tied to what’s popular at the moment or being defenders of groups they deem need their protection i.e. blacks, gays, or any group they see as oppressed.

Muslims are the new blacks.

Their values are arbitrary and transient.

But, let’s get away from theory and discuss hard cold reality. There’s been a lot written about the Ground Zero Mosque controversy. You’ve heard that it’s a question of religious freedom and that’s an absolutely false claim meant to divert attention away from what’s really at the heart of the matter.

Cliff at Another Black Conservative said the following: “We’re of the generation that will have to make a difference. The Islamaphaction of Europe was a long time in coming. It was like watching a slow motion train wreck. The same tactics used over there will be employed here unless we all rise up. The battle over the GZM is a hopeful sign.”

Cliff nailed it!

America knows that Great Britain has had Sharia Courts since 1982 and look what has happened to that once great nation?

British government leaders chose the Liberal point of view and instead of insisting that British Muslims assimilate to British culture and laws, they accommodated them and gave them a separate court system and in essence created a bi-lateral Muslim state within Britain.

That’s the path they chose.

Estimates are by 2025 Great Britain will be a majority Muslim country because of Liberalism.

Do you think Liberals mind if the same thing happened here in the United States?

Gimmie a break!

They would welcome it because America had it coming, in their view.

'Ground Zero' Imam’s Nose is Growing: Says He Wants to Americanize Islam = Bullshit

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a fraud!

His aim is to slowly integrate the acceptance of Sharia Law within the United States and destroy American culture from within.

Make no mistake that is the goal of the Muslim community and President Obama. They want to do here what they’ve already accomplished in Europe.




The New York Post reports that the imam behind the plan to build a mosque near Ground Zero surfaced yesterday far from the controversy -- in Bahrain, where he's on a taxpayer-funded trip to the Middle East to spread good will.

Appearing in public for the first time in weeks, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, speaking at a mosque near Bahrain's capital of Manama, said he wants to "Americanize" Islam -- but dodged questions about the uproar over his planned mosque and community center.

Rauf spoke against fanaticism, saying, "This issue of extremism is something that has been a national-security issue -- not only for the United States but also for many countries and nations in the Muslim world."

"This is why this particular trip has a great importance because all countries in the Muslim world -- as well as the Western world -- are facing this . . . major security challenge," Rauf told Associated Press Television News in a brief interview.

The cleric also said he was working on a way to "Americanize Islam," but didn't offer any details.
Rauf noted that many different interpretations of the faith have emerged over the last 1,400 years.

"The same principles and rituals were everywhere, but what happened in different regions was there were different interpretations," he said.

"So we recognize that our heritage allows for re-expressing the internal principles of our religion in different cultural times and places."

Some of the imam's American critics said they fear he is using the State Department-sponsored trip to raise money and rally support in the Muslim world for the mosque.

"I think there is no place for this," said the Rev. Franklin Graham, who is the son of evangelist Billy Graham and opposes the Ground Zero mosque.

"Can you imagine if the State Department paid to send me on a trip anywhere? The separation of church and state -- the critics would have been howling."

What happened to the island of Poth?

One day on the island of Poth, a stranger washed up ashore. He said he came from an island named Toll, but he left it for a better life.

“Everybody says that Poth is the land of opportunity,” the stranger said, “I want some for myself and there are plenty of others like me that want to come here.”

The Pothians in government said, “Sure come one come all.”

So they came.

First one, then two, then six and more.

But, the wisest and oldest citizen of Poth said this warning, “Let then come, sure. But, these new people have to learn the ways of being Pothian. They have to learn our language, our beliefs, and our customs. These are the very things that has made Poth what she is. This is what has made us exceptional. If we lose that, then Poth dies from within. Our destruction comes without war!”

But younger Pothians in government called the old man foolish and his thinking out-dated, and even bigoted.

So the Tollites continued to come to Poth.

They kept their language and their customs and told Pothians that their ways were offensive to them.

“We thought Pothians were not bigoted. That’s has always been your reputation. Has this been a lie all along?”

And the Pothians not wanting to be labeled bigots gave in.

In time Poth changed.

It became a place of strife and entitlement because other groups came with their own language, customs, demands and no one wanted to live as Pothian.

And as time went by no one remembered the old ways of Poth that made her the envy of the world.

Then a man was fishing in the ocean and saw a stranger bobbing in the water. He pulled him into his boat.

“Thank you so much!” the stranger said, “I thought I would drown for sure.”

“Where are you from?” asked the fisherman.

“I an from Poth and I seek a better life. Take me to your island.”

Then man picked up the stranger from Poth and threw him back into the water.
