16,000 jobs a day are being lost in the United States. Yet NBC, ABC, and CBS cannot find a single family to interview about the pain and suffering they are going through.
Instead, the main stream media shows Barack and Michelle Obama taking in a Broadway show, Barack Obama at his kids soccer game, or Barack eating a hamburger at a local fast-food joint.
In Ancient Rome, Caesar was told, “It is to your advantage, Caesar, to keep the people occupied.” This is the reason Rome had Gladiators fight to the death to keep the public entertained and controlled.
Today, the government does not need such a forms of amusement anymore. All they need now is a president with a 65% approval rating and he becomes the show all by himself.
People are hurting, but if network cameras are purposely not showing the American public the story, what are they showing instead and why?
Keep’em entertained and oblivious to reality
