In his quest to remake America into a socialist paradise, President Barack Obama brokered a deal that forced Chrysler into bankruptcy. In our capitalist system, business that can’t compete, go out of business. However, President Obama doesn’t want Chrysler to go gently into the night.
Oh no.
When the beleaguered automaker emerges form bankruptcy, 55% of the company will be controlled by the United Auto Workers Union. But, the fact that the UAW contributed thousands of dollars to President Obama’s presidential campaign has nothing to do with it.
There is no quid pro quo here.
Karl Marx would be very proud that workers now own the means of production of a major industry. Workers of the world unite!
