Chris Christie was voted into office by the voters of New Jersey because they’re sick of Liberal tax and spend policies that have run the Garden state financially into ground.
However, the unions and other public sector employees that have become fat with their generous pension plans and other budget busting measures are mounting a vicious public relations campaign painting Christie as a heartless bully.
I’ve seen this movie before when Ronald Reagan became president and he cut spending. And the same thing will happen with the next Republican president takes over in 2012.
What’s happening across the rive from me in New Jersey is just a preview of what will happen nationally.
