For the upcoming mid-term elections and especially for the 2012 presidential elections, it won’t matter if the Republican nominee is Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Janet Brewer, or Jesus Christ himself, Barack Obama will run against George W. Bush.
He won’t really be able to run on his own record which probably would yield an approval rating in the lower 40s if not lower by 2012.
It will be Bush, Bush, Bush and nothing but, “it was George Bush’s fault” for as far as the eye can see.
