MSNBC Host Openly Mocks Gay Conservative in On-Air Interview

Story here

What I find so interesting about the attitude of MSNBC Cenk Uygur concerning why a Gay man would be a Republican is that it’s the same condescending thinking that expects Blacks and Latinos to automatically be Democrats.

But, that’s the Democrat Party, a collection of different groups that don’t really think for themselves and are expected to robotically pull the lever for Democrats.

Like zombies?

Can Somebody Spare $1 for Barney Frank for a Ferry Ride to Fire Island?

My co-warrior against the insanity of the Left, Tim Daniels of Left Coast Rebel fame, is really hot this week. This is his second Op Ed in the Daily Caller in week.

This time Tim takes aim at Barney Frank the second most obnoxious Democrat congressman next to Charlie Rangel.

Barney Frank’s one dollar fare
conundrum and the ruling class

By Tim Daniels

From California to New York state, Arizona’s illegal immigration law has been making headlines. In what is perhaps a last ditch effort, the state chose to enforce border security and stop criminality that comes with undocumented immigrants.

But last Friday residents thousands of miles away in New York witnessed something similar but quite different: an aggravated, disheveled, undocumented senior citizen.

70-year-old Representative
Barney Frank, (D-MA) was heading out to New York’s Fire Island. The New York Post reported that the Massachusetts congressman failed to contain his exasperation when a ticket clerk at the local dock rejected his request for a $1 discount ferry
fare to the island. Frank did not possess the necessary Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID to take part. Something quite fascinating then unfolded.

The
New York Post recounts a witness claiming that, “Frank made such a drama over the senior rate that I contemplated offering him the dollar to cool down the situation.”

One can imagine the horror of a Congressionally-pampered power broker confronted with a simple, everyday incident like this. Barney Frank lost his cool and that says it all.

And so the story unfolds. In many corners of our society a seemingly trivial incident like this from a man of such high authority would bring pause for no concern. Perhaps, instead – a laughing matter, or an excuse to muse over the representative’s strange proclivities, personality and arrogance.

But the story of the $1
discount fare points to much, much, more.

As Angelo M. Codevilla described in his stunning essay,
America’s Ruling Class — And the Perils of Revolution, Barney Frank’s actions are emblematic of the ruling class mentality. Frank would not have objected more if the Sayville, New York dock clerk had shorted him $5 or even five cents. Either would have signaled a failure to recognize the ongressman’s ruling class authority and the power that thus brings over the public at large. It is through this prism of elitist thought that the ruling class and thus those like Frank, gaze upon the masses.

The ruling class disease of entrenched hubris and elitism has echoed the halls of the United States Congress for far too long and is the cause for many of the ills that we face now as a nation. In fact, it is a valid explanation for many aspects of the so-called ‘progressive’ agenda that simply do not make sense to many citizens.

Power begets corruption, corruption begets more lust for power, and powerful congressmen berate trivial, everyday life issues.

Lutherans Offer Warm Welcome to Gay Pastors

This is a very unfortunate story to report. Like so many other things in our society, Liberalism has infected the Body of Christ-The Church.

But, it’s all part of what Scripture foretells anyway.
Of course I expect to called intolerant or homophobic for even writings this.

Take your best shot!

The bible says that homosexuality is immoral. These Liberal theologians disagree and interpret Scripture to suit their own sinful life style.

New York Times

With a laying on of hands, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on Sunday welcomed into its fold seven openly gay pastors who had until recently been barred from the church’s ministry.

The ceremony at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in San Francisco was the first of several planned since the denomination took a watershed vote at its convention last year to allow noncelibate gay ministers in committed relationships to serve the church.

“Today the church is speaking with a clear voice,” the Rev. Jeff R. Johnson, one of the seven gay pastors participating in the ceremony, said at a news conference just before it began. “All people are welcome here, all people are invited to help lead this church, and all people are loved unconditionally by God.”

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, known as the E.L.C.A., with 4.6 million members, is now the largest Protestant church in the United States to permit noncelibate gay ministers to serve in the ranks of its clergy — an issue that has caused wrenching divisions for it as well as for many other denominations.

Since the church voted last summer to allow noncelibate gay clergy members to serve, 185 congregations have taken the two consecutive votes required to leave the denomination, said Melissa Ramirez Cooper, a spokeswoman for the church, citing a tally that she said was updated monthly.

There are 10,396 congregations nationwide.

The Episcopal Church and the United Church of Christ also allow gay ministers. And the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s general assembly voted at its convention earlier this month to do so, though the vote will become church law only if is ratified by a majority of the church’s 173 regional presbyteries.

Two smaller Lutheran denominations, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, do not ordain ministers in same-sex relationships.

The seven ministers welcomed at the ceremony on Sunday had already been ordained and have been serving at churches or outreach ministries in the San Francisco Bay Area, but they had not been officially recognized on the clergy roster.

“The effect of them being brought onto our roster is they will now be part of our national database of pastors who are available for service in any of our 10,500 churches,” said Bishop Mark W. Holmerud, who leads the Sierra Pacific Synod, which includes San Francisco. He noted that while some congregations were open to consider hiring openly gay ministers, others were not — and each congregation is free to choose.

The Evangelical Lutherans designed Sunday’s special “rite of reconciliation” to mark the formal inclusion of gay ministers who were ordained in “extraordinary rites” that were not recognized by the church but were conducted by a group called Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries.

Three more gay pastors will be welcomed at ceremonies in September and October, two in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area and one in Chicago, Ms. Cooper said.

Amalia Vagts, executive director of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, said, “It’s been a long and hard journey for a lot of people, and it feels like this is a new beginning in the history of the E.L.C.A.”

Some who opposed it are now poised to leave. The Rev. Mark Chavez, director of Lutheran CORE, a coalition of theologically conservative Lutheran churches, said his group expected to form a new denomination, the North American Lutheran Church, in August.

He said of the ceremony on Sunday, “It’s just another steady step taken by the E.L.C.A. to move the denomination further and further away from most Lutheran churches around the world and from the whole Christian church, unfortunately.”

Marie Osmond May Need to Check into Mental Hospital

There are few things in life worse than losing a child.

It doesn’t even matter if an adult child is lost, the pain is still unbearable. Marie Osmond’s life has been turned upside down and she is still hurting.

From The National Enquirer:

Grief-stricken MARIE OSMOND, still in deep depression over son's suicide, may now be headed for a psych ward.

Her family is so concerned that the beloved singer is not coming out of her deep depression following her son Michael's suicide that they are considering the ultimate intervention - placing her in a mental facility.

The fragile 50-year-old entertainer is still shattered by the young man's death in February - and some nights her brother Donny, 52, has to plead with the grief-stricken star to go onstage.

Distraught family members fear that a temporary stay in a mental institution could be the only chance of keeping her alive, say sources."Every performance takes another bite out of her emotional health," says a source close to Marie.
