Is the New York Post secreatly working for Andrew Cuomo?

As a NY Post customers for over 30 years, their coverage of the gubernatorial race is totally slanted in favor of Andrew Cuomo.

Every edition has an juvenile attack piece against Republican Carl Paladino and practically little or no coverage of Democrat Andrew Cuomo. And when they do finally get around to write about Cuomo, it’s a kissy puff piece.

The surprising aspect to all this, is that the NY Post is the more conservative leaning paper in New York City.

Many Post readers are very upset and are threatening to stop buying the paper.

I just wonder what happened to the Post’s integrity.

It sure looks like editor Fred Dicker has a vendetta against Carl Paladino because ever since this confrontation between Paladino and Dicker, the Post has been totally slanted against Paladino ever since. I’m convinced that Dicker is secretly working for Cuomo. I don’t have smoking gun proof, but the coverage speaks for itself.

Andrew Cuomo is nose-deep in the sub prime mortgage crisis and the NY Post doesn’t say boo about it.

Why is that Fred?

Fair stories about Paladino?

On Oct 14, the Post’s Fred Dicker ran a story about Carl Paladino renting space to a Planned Parenthood center. Two thirds of the article was about the services PP offers like abortion services ect. So the Post raises the specter that Paladino is a hypercrite for accepting rent from PP when he’s against abortion. But at the very end of the article, Paladino’ campaign mgr explains that the PP center was already there when Paladino took control of the shopping center in which it sits and wasn’t going to breaka lease.

That was clearly a hit job by Fred Dicker and the Post to paint Paladino asa hypocrite when in fact he’s only acting in a lawful manner.

Paladino Bashing Continuums: GOP candidate rented to Gay Bar This is a scandal?

So New York’s hometown paper, The Daily News, thought it was a big scoop to discover the GOP candidate for NY Gov Carl Paladino collected money from a Gay Bars. It’s time to really polish up the Pulitzer Prize.

But, let me get this straight. Even though Carl Paladino disagrees with the Homo lifestyle as does the principles of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, he’s being portrayed as the oddity?

Should he have discriminated against the Gay Bar?

It seems he didn’t let his personal views interfere with practicing equal opportunity.

The New York Daily News reports that Carl Paladino says kids shouldn't be "brainwashed" into thinking it's okay to be gay or be taken to a "disgusting" gay pride parade.
But he had no problem when his son, William, ran Cobalt, a nightclub once dubbed
Buffalo's "gay club of the moment."

And he had no problem cashing the rent checks from Cobalt and another gay club called Buddies II, both of which were located for years in buildings he owned.

Paladino warns against Gay 'brainwashing'

Finally we have a man's man with the courage to espouse a belief that is supported by Christianity, Islam, and Judaism!

All three are constituent protected faiths that all Americans are allowed to participate in.

Carl Paladino and millions of others in this country have a right to believes and say that homosexuality is immoral, dysfunctional, and wrong.

But, of course the torrent that will come his way from the postmodern-cultural relativist who don’t believe in absolute truths, but believe that carbon is a pollutant, speaks for itself.

The New York Post reports that Carl Paladino says it’s not okay to be gay.

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual," the Republican gubernatorial candidate told a small Hasidic group at K’hal Adas Kasho synagogue in Williamsburg today.

"That's not how god created us, and that's not the example that we should be showing our children."

Paladino, who has made his opposition to the gay marriage and "the homosexual agenda" clear, went much further yesterday, to say children "would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family" than being gay."

"And I don't want them to be brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option," he said. "It isn't."

The speech came just days after the suicide of a gay Rutgers student and an anti-gay gang attack in the Bronx.

His Democratic opponent, Andrew Cuomo, blasted the remarks as "stunning homophobia and a glaring disregard for basic equality."

Paladino did try to couch his anti-gay rhetoric.
"Don't misquote me as wanting to hurt homosexual people in any way -- that would be a dastardly lie," he explained. "My approach is live and let live."

The truth is more people believe with Paladino than the politically correct crowd that sip on tea on the Upper Westside of Manhattan and the Beltway.

Is Fred “The Dick” Dicker on Andrew Cuomo’s Payroll?

I go away on vacation for a week to Puerto Rico and all hell breaks out in my state of New York. Sorry for being a week late with this story, but I have to put in my two cents, okay maybe it’s worth a penny.

From what I gather, Republican candidate for NY Gov, Carl Paladino, who admitted to an affair he had 10 years ago which produced a daughter, accused Andrew Cuomo of having at least 3 or 4 affairs while he was married to a Kennedy.

NY Post editor, Fred Dicker, confronted Paladino and asks him for proof of Cuomo’s affair.

Here’s the question?

Why is Fred Dicker so upset with Paladino’s accusation to the point of being physically threatening to Paladino who doesn’t back down and threatens Dicker for sending NY Post photogs to cover his 10 year old daughter?

Dicker denies the charge.

It looks like Dicker is really taking it personally that such an accusation can be made against Andrew Cuomo who is a huge joke outside of Democrat circles.

The only thing Andrew Cuomo has going for him is his name “Cuomo”, son of former 3 term gov Mario Cuomo. He’s never accomplished anything for himself without the help of his influential father.

His nickname can be Andrew “Yeah I got the serious hook up” Cuomo.

But, what disappoints me most is that the NY Post, the so-called “conservative” paper in this town, the paper I have brought everyday for over 30 years has completely sold out to the Cuomo dynasty.

NY Post, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

And as for Fred Dicker, he’s living up to his name!

Carl Paladino’s wife Cathy talks about son’s death, and Carl’s 10 year old love child

When you’re running for political office you’re life gets exposed to the kind of scrutiny most Americans wouldn’t want to deal with.

I recall the very day after David Paterson was inaugurated NY gov after Gov Elliott Spitzer was forced to resign for being client #9 (hooker scandal), Patterson admitted to having multiple affairs (his blindness didn’t stop him for getting some on the side). He voluntarily threw it out there because he knew he was moving into the fishbowl in Albany and it was better to make the dirty details public, own up to it, and move on.

The issue lasted a few days and then faded away into memory.

However, Patterson had the advantage of being a Democrat in a Democrat state. Had he’d been a conservative Republican; the story would have hung around like Freddie Cruger
unable to kill it.

Enter Carl Paladino, a Republican and tea Party fav running in a Democrat state with some baggage of his own. And like David Patterson, he’s coming clean for the voters. His wife, Cathy is standing by her man and gave an extensive interview to the New York Post.

Full interview here

Of course none of these deep personal family natters have no bearing on what Carl Paladino wants to do to save New York from failing Democrat high tax and spend policies that is running NY into the ground, right?

Carl Paladino now only 6 Points behind Andrew “It’s My Turn to Rule” Cuomo: Quinnipiac Poll

Yesterday a Rasmussen poll had Republican Carl Paladino down by 15 points. But, in a new poll the gap has closed significantly because New Yorkers are sick and tired of being taxed and spent to death by Liberal Democrats who don’t know anything other than sucking the taxpayer dry.

Even though Democrats out number Republicans 3 to 1 in New York, Dem voters has seen what other Democrat controlled administrations have done in California, in Michigan, and in New Jersey respectively all teetering on the brink of financial ruin.

This time around New York voters are voting with their wallets and against party interests.

The Daily News reports in a Quinnipiac University poll, Andrew Cuomo leads Tea Party-backed rival Carl Paladino by only a few percentage points, suggesting race is must tighter than originally thought.

Flame-throwing
Republican Carl Paladino is within striking distance of overtaking longtime gubernatorial frontrunner Andrew Cuomo, a shocking new poll finds.

Among likely voters, the Democrat Cuomo has a paltry 49% to 43% lead over Paladino, the blowhard Buffalo businessman who won a shocking and decisive victory last week in the GOP primary, the Quinnipiac University poll finds.

Cuomo "might be a victim of his own excess," Quinnipiac pollster Maurice Carroll said. "Politicians and polls have depicted him so relentlessly as a sure thing that he might be a victim of the 'throw the bums out' attitude that hits incumbents in this angry year."

In the two-way race between Cuomo and Paladino, Quinnipiac found that Cuomo has strong leads among Democrats and women.

Paladino not only crushes Cuomo among Republicans and those who consider themselves part of the Tea Party movement, but he also leads by a 49% to 43% margin among independents - a key voting bloc.

The tough-talking Paladino also leads among men by a 49-46% margin, Quinnipiac found.

Nearly 80% of voters say their minds are made up.

"The question was whether Carl Paladino would get a bounce from his big Republican primary victory," Carroll said. "The answer is yes. He's within shouting distance and - you can count on it - he will be shouting."

Since winning the primary, Paladino has unleashed venomous attacks against Cuomo, most recently questioning his manhood and wondering if he has the "cajones" to publicly debate.

It's left Team Cuomo struggling to find a way to fight back against the unconventional slash-and-burn foe.

Helping Paladino is that 41% of voters say they want a governor who will bring change to Albany, while 22% favor someone who shares their values.
Another 21% want someone who is honest and trustworthy.

In a potential bad sign for Cuomo, the first-term attorney general whose father was a three-term governor, just 10% listed "right experience" as the quality that matters most in deciding how they will vote.

Carl Paladino moves to within 16 points in poll in New York Gov Race

Carl Paladino is not finished yest in his quest to upset baby Andrew Cuomp, the daddy’s Little boy that hasn’t acomplished anything on his own without the help of his father, former Gov Mario Cuomo.

This lead Andrew has is going to continue to shrink as he’s forced to open his mouth and pretend he a conservative reformer.

New Yorkers are not going to be fooled by that.

The Buffalo News reports that Republican Carl P. Paladino is gaining in his contest for governor against Democratic rival Andrew M. Cuomo, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

The survey of 500 likely voters shows Cuomo leading by 54 to 38 percent and represents a major jump from the same poll's finding in July, when the attorney general's lead over the Buffalo businessman was 58 to 29 percent.

"This is Paladino's best showing yet," according to Rasmussen Reports. "It remains to be seen whether this is a short-lived post-primary bounce or a tightening of the race that Cuomo has dominated for months."

The race remains in the "solid Democrat" category, however, the pollster reported. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points in the poll, which was conducted Thursday.

According to the poll, 59 percent of likely voters view Cuomo favorably, while 35 percent regard him unfavorably. Only 5 percent expressed no opinion.

For Paladino, the poll reports favorables at 46 percent, with unfavorables at 38 percent, with 15 percent expressing no opinion.
Paladino called the poll results "awesome" and predicted that he will close the gap even further in the next week.

All of this seemed to intensify both campaigns, as Paladino reiterated his challenge to Cuomo to engage in a debate, while Cuomo supporters showed the kind of power they can muster when on the attack.

Carl Paladino says Andrew Cuomo Lacks 'Cajones' to Debate Him like a Real Man

As a lifetime New Yorker having lived in this state for 47 years, let me tell you that Andrew Cuomo has done NOTHING in his life of any disinclination other than being born a Cuomo, having been married to a Kennedy for a about a minute, and having been the beneficiary of Democrat crony politics because of his name (former NY Gov Mario Cuomo) when he was appointed HUD under President Bill Clinton.

All Andrew had to do was graduate from law school and his father did all the rest for him with every job or position since then.

He’s not a self-made man.

He is and always has been Daddy’s little boy waiting for his chance to become king.

And the voters of New York would have to be utter idiots to vote this man governor when he represents so much of the failed Democrat policies that have poised this state on the brink of financial ruin.

If a can of paint promised to cut taxes 10% and cut spending 20%, New Yorkers would be much better off voting for the can instead of Andrew “It’s my turn to rule” Cuomo.

But, New Yorkers don’t have to resort to paint fumes to take them out of their misery. They have Carl Paladino on their side.

The New York Post reports that bomb-throwing Buffalo businessman and newly minted GOP gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino began baiting Attorney General Andrew Cuomo today for allegedly lacking the “cajones’’ to face him and other candidates in a public debate.

In a remarkably insulting “Dear Andrew’’ letter sent to the “office of the Democratic Party’’ in Albany, Paladino also directly challenged Cuomo’s manhood and attacked his father, Mario Cuomo, who served three terms as governor from 1983-1994.

“Frankly, I don’t think you have the cojones to face me and the other candidates in a open debate,’’ wrote Paladino, citing Cuomo’s refusal so far to agree to a debate.

“Don't hide behind daddy's coattails even though he pulled strings to advance your career every step of your way. Come out and debate like a man,’’ continued Paladino, who won an upset victory over former Long Island U.S. Rep. Rick Lazio in the GOP primary last week.

“So Andrew, for the first time in your life be a man,’’ he continued.

At one point in the letter Paladino calls Mario Cuomo “a governor who left our state economy in a wreck.”

Cuomo has indicated he’ll debate Paladino and Lazio, who is expected to continue campaigning on the Conservative Party line, but Cuomo's also said that no talks have yet been held with Paladino’s campaign.
Cuomo had no immediate reaction to Paladino’s harsh attack.

It’s time to for Andrew Cuomo to move out from under his daddy’s coattails for once in his life.

Carl Paladino Wins NY Republican Gov Nomination Will Be Next Gov of New York

Yes, I’m making bold prediction that Carl Paladino will defeat Liberal knock off Andrew Cuomo because we New Yorkers are sick and tired of being taxed to death and having a dysfunctional government in Albany.

Paladino is the man who could blow it up and make government work for the people instead of the other way around.

Any New Yorker who would vote for Cuomo would need to be committed to Belleview for a psych evaluation because he’s more of what already exists in Albany, pro union, big tax and spend.

New Yorkers are not that stupid!

The New York Post reports that Carl Paladino -- an outsider fueled by the Tea Party but derided as a long shot by the state Republican establishment -- snatched the GOP nod for governor from former Long Island Rep. Rick Lazio, in a political upset that just weeks ago seemed impossible.

Paladino, a Buffalo developer who self-financed his campaign, was declared the winner over Lazio by 63 to 37 percent, with 84 percent of the votes tallied.

"If we've learned anything tonight it's that New Yorkers are mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!" Paladino said in his victory speech.

His surprising surge came after critics dismissed him as a fringe candidate with a mouth bigger than his potential -- or his brain.

His campaign began with a series of embarrassing revelations that could easily have torpedoed his bid. He was caught forwarding racist and dirty e-mails, and referred to Assembly speaker
Sheldon Silver -- an Orthodox Jew -- as "Hitler."

But Paladino, plainspoken and seemingly earnest, was backed by the influential Tea Party movement, as well as by voters impressed with his message.

Lazio, who was trounced by
Hillary Rodham Clinton for the US Senate in 2000, said in his concession speech last night, "We wish we had a better outcome, but we're proud of the race we ran."

Carl Paladino Dispatches Duck to Stalk Andrew Cuomo

Anything can happen in New York.

Village Voice

Proving that nothing is too stupid in love and politics, Carl Paladino has dispatched a person in a duck suit -- get it, duck? as in, "ducking questions about his position on health care reform"? -- to follow Andrew Cuomo around the state as he campaigns for the New York governorship.

And, as in the worst cases of both love and politics, this is kinda creepy and stalkerish, to say nothing of the poor duck-person, who's likely to have his own health care issue and pass out in so much fur due to this infernal heat (maybe he's got air conditioning in there?).

Of course, when you roll out the ducks, you've got to expect this kind of response: "Carl Paladino sends a duck to a political event?

Of course. Paladino is a quack," says New York Democratic Committee chairman Jay Jacobs. Thank God for puns.

Meanwhile, the ducks are asking why Paladino didn't put a duck in a MAN suit for this whole shtick.
