Colorado man Jack Herbst drove front-end loader' into nieghbor;s home over $80 debt causing $250,000 in damages

Word to the wise.

Don’t ever owe Jack Herbst any money! Seriously, this is something you'd see in a movie.

Daily Mail reports that when Jack Herbst and his neighbor Ron Morphis fell out over an $80 debt, there was only one course of action.

Herbst, 63, drove a front-end loader from his home in Yoder, Colorado, around to Mr Morphis's house - and kept driving straight through the middle of it.

Police have arrested Herbst on suspicion of causing an estimated $250,000 in damages and, while it is up to the courts to decide whether Herbst is guilty of the crime, police say they have fairly compelling evidence.

The victim's sister, Loranne McLaughlin, told AOL News that the whole thing kicked off after her brother had agreed to buy a trailer from Herbst for $400 - but had only paid $320.

She says Mr Morphis was planning to pay the rest but earlier this week Herbst allegedly left a voice mail on Mr Morphis's phone saying: 'I want my $80 or I'm going to flatten everything.'

On Wednesday, Mr Morphis returned from work to his home in Bellemont Road - to discover he no longer had much of a home to return to.
