I saw this movie 40 years ago on a class trip to Radio City when I was in the 3rd grade and never forgot it.

This flick hits on universal themes of love, bigotry, humor, marital relationships, and faith in God that applies to most people on one level or another. The characters are so richly drawn that you’ll get sucked into the story in very short order.
