I rember when Reagan got shot and Al Haig said that he was in control at the White House. The stupid mainstream media, who hated Reagan of course, mocked Haig for not knowing the constitutional line of succession of power. It was bogus,gutless and shameful attack on a great American hero!
Haig knew all along what the line was, but he wanted to assure the country and the world that the United States was still fully capable and functioning even though the president was down.
That was the type of of man Haig was--take charge, kickass, a leader, unlike the the wimps we have in charge now!
