I hope this doesn’t become a trend because getting acid thrown your face is no joke. The first incident occurred in Vancouver, Washington. And I’m still waiting for the media to call it a possible hate crime because the victim Bethany Storro is White and the woman assailant is Black.
But, that’s just me I guess, or is it?
KSDK reports that police are searching for a suspect who threw acid on the face of an Arizona woman who had arrived home and was getting out of her car.
Mesa police said Friday that the 41-year-old victim was being treated for second-degree burns to her face and chest area after the attack Thursday.
Police say the act does not appear to be random. They are following up on leads to find the female suspect, between 30 and 40 years old.
