When was the last time Barack Obama called Christianity a great world religion?
I really can’t seem to remember him ever saying it.
However, I seem to recall Obama calling Islam a great religion more than half a dozen times since he’s been president. It’s as if he feels compelled to remind the world of this notion. Does Islam have a self esteem problem?
Obama seems to care more for the sensibilities of Muslims and ignores the reality. In the African nation of Nigeria Muslims are killing Christians on a regular basis. The world press doesn’t portray the facts because they have adopted Islam as the so-called “peaceful religion” that needs defending.
The Boston Globe reports that Nigerian officials have concluded in internal documents that Iran's government was behind the secret shipment of weapons that were discovered in Africa's most populous nation last month.
The documents were seen Thursday by The Associated Press.
The cargo shipped from an Iranian port was listed as building materials but contained 107mm rockets, ammunition and arms. Nigeria's security service believes the arms were imported by some local politicians to destabilize the country if they lose in coming elections.
The reports say Iran's foreign ministry supported a Nigerian visa application for one of two Iranians who organized the shipment, saying he would work for the Iranian Embassy.
Iranian Ambassador Hussein Abdullahi declined to immediately discuss the allegations.
Nigeria has a predominantly Muslim north and Christian south and holds presidential elections next year.
If you leave the Christian faith, you don’t have to worry about being killed for it. However, if you leave the Muslim religion, it’s a death sentence!
That doesn’t sound peaceful to me.
