Many conservatives who rally around Sarah Palin are used to the fact that The Left attacks her on an almost a daily basis. However, we take solace in knowing that the reason for the barrage of insults and criticisms hurled at her is because Liberals are afraid of what she stands for-conservatism.
However, what hurts us the most is how others on our side are quick to join-in with Lefties in also knocking Palin to score points with the media.
I find this intolerable and it says more about some media loving Republicans than it does about Palin.
Ronald Reagan once talked about an eleventh commandment, “Thou shall not criticize another Republican.” Nonetheless these so-called conservatives, who profess by rote a love for Reagan, conveniently ignore his plea.
Truth be told, Sarah Palin is much closer to Reagan than any of her GOP critics.
She’s taken the abusive from the deranged Left and refuses to be stifled.
In fact, I can only think of one male Republican, Jim Demint, who is an equivalent of Palin in his unabashed articulation of the conservative message.
That’s truly a sad indictment and it should give pause to the Rinos and the Me too Republicans.
